According to Ug News Europe,President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s vision for the future is that the Caspian region should become the center of “energy transition” within the next 10-20 years, just as the Caspian region is the center of energy production worldwide.Ug News Europe reports that BP’s regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, Gary Jones, said these words today at the company’s briefing on the results of 2022.He said that this region can become a center for the production of offshore wind energy and other renewable energies:The possibilities of the region becoming an “energy transition” center are too great.We are very pleased with the work we have done in this region in the last 30 years.We are sure that in the next 30 years, the region will become a center for the “energy transition”, and we will be here as well.
