According to Ug News Media Europe,The presentation of the documentary film “The Legend of the Nightingale” dedicated to Shusha, the cultural capital of our country, was held at the US-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce located in Washington on January 11, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States.Ug News Media Europe reports that Swedish Mikayil Silkeberg, the director of the documentary film, and Jeffrey Verbock, the founder of the American Mugham Society, participated in the event and talked about the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, especially Shusha, and their visits to our territories freed from occupation.
The event was attended by the US State Department, representatives of diplomatic and military attaché corps accredited in this country, and activists of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
At the end, the dishes of our national cuisine were presented to the guests.
