According to Ug News Europe,The number of people who died as a result of the earthquake in Turkey has increased to 40 thousand 689.Ug News Europe reports that Yunus Sezer, head of the country’s Emergency Situations Management Agency (AFAD), said this in a press release.It should be noted that on February 6, at 04:17 local time, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş province of Turkey, and at 13:24 in Elbistan district.The earthquake with a depth of 7 kilometers caused serious destruction in 10 provinces. A three-month state of emergency was declared in 10 provinces affected by the earthquake.
