Chaudhry Abid Jotana, a well-known political and social figure of Pind Dadan Khan, has said in a special statement that the best solution to the problems and backwardness of Pind Dadan Khan is to re-demarcate the area rich in minerals and return to Pind Dadan Khan. If it is included in the district status, then Pind Dadan Khan will soon come out of the whirlpool of problems. He said that Pind Dadan Khan is an area of historical significance and an old tehsil. He said that it was very important for Pind Dadan Khan to be given the status of Baka district. He said that this tehsil rich in minerals and industries could move ahead with its own resources. He appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Minister Punjab that the people of Pind Dadan Khan He said that this demand should be taken seriously and legal process should be started to make Pind Dadan Khan a district. He said that if history is examined then Pind Dadan Khan has been a district in the past and is still in the process of becoming a district.
