According to Ug news Media Europe,Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will begin his visit to the Group of Seven (G7) countries on January 9.Ug news Media Europe reports that Fumio Kishida said this yesterday at the first press conference of the new year. “Starting from January 9, I will visit France, Italy, Great Britain, Canada and the United States,” said the Prime Minister, saying that he plans to discuss issues related to mutual relations within the framework of the G7 with the leaders of those countries.The exact dates of the visits are not yet known, but the White House announced earlier that US President Joe Biden and Kishida are scheduled to meet in Washington on January 13. According to preliminary information, the leaders will discuss Russia’s war in Ukraine, North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs, and the situation around Taiwan.The chairmanship of the Group of Seven was transferred to Japan this year, and the summit of the G7 countries will be held in Hiroshima in May. This city was subjected to an American atomic attack on August 6, 1945. Fumio Kishida, whose constituency is located in Hiroshima, explained his choice by saying that holding the meeting in this place would be a strong signal to the world in favor of giving up nuclear weapons.
