Featured Destinations in Bradford
For today’s day trip, Bradford’s renowned locations, Cannon Mills and The Broadway Bradford, were selected. Participants spent quality time shopping, sightseeing, and relaxing with their families and friends.
Senior Vice President of UGR Art & Culture, Mishaal Aqeel Pinky, remarked that such trips are not just about entertainment, but are a genuine and deep necessity for the community. She noted that many families lack opportunities to go out and enjoy quality recreation. Some individuals cannot drive, while others find it challenging to travel long distances alone. Traveling as a group eases these difficulties, provides valuable opportunities for social connection, and helps people step away from daily routines and stress to find mental peace.
Continuous Activities for the Community
UGR Art & Culture continuously organizes trips, cultural, social, and recreational events for the community in the UK. The primary aim of these activities is to bring people of all ages and families closer together, reduce isolation, and foster a positive, joyful, and supportive community environment.
In the same spirit, the UG Women’s Wing regularly hosts social and recreational programs for women, including the Me Time Coffee Morning. These events offer women a valuable opportunity to take time for themselves away from daily household chores, meet other women, share experiences, and participate in uplifting activities.
