Iran, United States, and global powers must reduce tensions and move toward comprehensive dialogue; economic and humanitarian crises can no longer be endured, says Amun Taraqqi Party

Lahore:(Special Representative)According to UG NEWS,Chairman Amun Taraqqi Party, Muhammad Faiq Shah, has expressed deep concern over the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, the rising confrontation between Iran and the United States, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, and the prevailing global uncertainty. He stated that war is not a sustainable solution to any problem; rather, it leads to destruction, humanitarian crises, economic instability, and global disorder. He emphasized that recent developments, diplomatic contacts, and indications of a ceasefire demand seriousness from all parties so that this opportunity is not wasted and concrete steps are taken toward establishing lasting peace. Muhammad Faiq Shah noted that the region is already facing severe challenges including instability, poverty, inflation, and an energy crisis; therefore, any new conflict would impact not only the Middle East but the entire world, particularly developing countries, where rising oil prices, trade disruptions, and inflation would become an unbearable burden on the public. He warned that any disruption or uncertainty in key trade routes like the Strait of Hormuz could prove dangerous for the global economy, stressing the need to immediately de-escalate tensions and ensure the safety of maritime navigation. He further said that global powers must promote diplomacy, tolerance, and mutual respect instead of the use of force, while the United Nations and other international institutions should play an active and impartial role in bringing parties to the negotiating table and forming a comprehensive and mutually acceptable agreement that guarantees lasting peace in the region. Muhammad Faiq Shah also stressed that respect for the sovereignty and security of all countries is a fundamental principle, and that issues can only be resolved through dialogue. He stated that the world is at a critical juncture where wisdom, restraint, and foresight are urgently needed. He expressed hope that recent diplomatic efforts, high-level contacts, and prospects of a ceasefire will prove to be a positive development and help save the region from a major catastrophe. He urged global leaders to prioritize the protection of human lives, regional stability, and world peace to ensure a safe and peaceful future for coming generations.
