1500th Anniversary of Milad-un-Nabi Celebration at Bilal Masjid Oldham

A grand gathering of Milad-un-Nabi was organized at Bilal Jamia Masjid in the historic town of Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK, to commemorate the 1500th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The gathering was sponsored and hosted by Sahibzada Allama Muhammad Tahir Baghdadi, the great religious scholar of Britain and the Imam and preacher of Bilal Masjid, and members of the mosque committee.
In the first session, Hafiz Muhammad Daniyal, Hafiz Muhammad Abir and Haji Muhammad Yasin, Haji Munir Ahmed and Ali Shan Chishti were the recipients of the recitation.
In the second session, the renowned reciter Shaukat Ali Mustafavi from South Africa made the atmosphere cheerful by reciting the Holy Quran and praising the presence of Sarwar Kunin. The renowned Sana Khwan Imran Shahzad Madani from Mirpur Azad Kashmir recited Naats in his own unique style. Sheikh Asrar-ul-Haq Owaisi, the administrator of Khanwada Dhangri Sharif and Sifah-ul-Islam Bradford, gave a beautiful speech in English on the love of the Prophet, which was very much appreciated. Professor Pir Syed Riaz Hussain Shah, Sheikh of Hadith from Manchester Muslim College and author of many books, gave a comprehensive speech on Milad-un-Nabi and the belief in the finality of the Prophethood, which was appreciated by all the scholars and participants. The atmosphere echoed with slogans of Takbir and Risalat, Sarkar Ki Aadam Marhaba. Sahibzada Muhammad Tahir Baghdadi said that by organizing the 1500th anniversary of the birth of Mustafa, we are fulfilling an important duty of educating and training the Muslim community and the new generation so that the Muslim community living in the UK can also stand out in the service of religion and the service of humanity by establishing its great traditions. While presiding over the gathering, Maulana Qari Syed Abdul Shakoor Qadri, founder and chairman of the Oldham Mosques Council, said that this grand gathering of Milad-un-Nabi will promote the love of the Prophet and will also create an atmosphere of unity and agreement in the British Muslim community. Supervising the gathering, Maulana Mufti Muhammad Azam Naqshbandi said that in this gathering of Milad-un-Nabi, we are giving this message that we will celebrate Milad-un-Nabi and adopt the Seerat-un-Nabi. The gathering was specially attended by Maulana Muhammad Deen Chishti, Qari Fazil Ahmed Sialvi, Maulana Faisal Yaqoob, Hafiz Amir Hussain Naqshbandi, Hafiz Zia-ul-Haq, Hafiz Muhammad Habib Siddiqui, Syed Hassan Abbas Shah Gilani, Syed Talib Hussain Shah Gilani, Hafiz Muhammad Arshad, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Hafiz Noor Muhammad Jamati, Haji Muhammad Arshad, Misbah-ud-Din Saifi, Qamar Zaman Attari, Hafiz Muhammad Salman Sialvi, Haji Altaf Hussain, Haji Abdul Majeed Qadri, Haji Nasir Mahmood, Raja Abdul Marouf, Haji Muhammad Saleem, as well as the relatives of all the mosques of Oldham and surrounding areas and Ghulam Mustafa. A large number of women from all over Oldham also attended the gathering, which was arranged at the Syeda Fatima Zahra Centre. The program was being broadcast live on the Bilal Jamia Masjid YouTube channel.
At the end, Syed Sariya Hassan Shah Gilani offered beautiful greetings and prayers and a closing prayer was offered.
A special Milad-e-Jiafat was arranged for all the participants and
the outer building of Bilal Masjid Oldham was decorated with beautiful colored lights by Waqas Ahmed of Kashmiri Barber Shop.
All the administrative affairs of the gathering were carried out by Haji Muhammad Aslam,
Haji Abdul Ghafoor, Qasim Masood, Sajid Hanif, Haji Waseem Iqbal, Muhammad Zeeshan, Zia Mohiuddin, Haji Nadeem Iqbal, Haji Suleman,
Muhammad Zubair, Sodagar Hussain, Haji Shahid Mahmood, Azad Hussain, Zubair Ashraf, Haji Saghir Ahmed, Raja Usman, Ashfaq Hussain
Hafiz Raja Tayyab and Jabir Irfan, with the full support of the local people.
