United Kingdom – Member of Parliament Mohammad Afzal Khan (MP) has awarded Open Kitchen Manchester an honorary certificate in recognition of its outstanding humanitarian and community service. The award acknowledges Open Kitchen’s exemplary contributions toward supporting the needy and fostering compassion within society.

Representing Open Kitchen Manchester at the event were Muhammad Shehzad Ali Mirza, CEO of Urdu Global and Open Kitchen Manchester; Chaudhry Abdul Rafiq, Director of Urdu Global; Muhammad Aamir Khan, President of Open Kitchen; Haji Raja Muhammad Shabir, Senior Vice President; and Muhammad Hafeez Chauhan, Director of Open Kitchen.

Upon arrival at the UK Parliament, the delegation received a warm welcome. MP Mohammad Afzal Khan hosted a reception and highly praised Open Kitchen Manchester’s remarkable efforts in serving humanity and supporting the vulnerable.

It is noteworthy that Open Kitchen Manchester is the only global humanitarian initiative that began during the COVID-19 pandemic and has continued for over five years, consistently providing free meals and essential supplies to those in need.

MP Mohammad Afzal Khan had also mentioned Open Kitchen Manchester during a parliamentary session in the COVID era — a historic acknowledgment of the organisation’s spirit of service and dedication to humanity.

This honorary recognition marks the third major award received by Open Kitchen Manchester within the past six days, reflecting the organisation’s unwavering commitment, compassion, and selfless service to humanity.

The entire Open Kitchen Manchester team extends heartfelt gratitude to MP Mohammad Afzal Khan for his appreciation and encouragement of their mission to serve humanity.
