Businessperson Basit Butt and Senior Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party UK Khawaja Kaleemur Rehman hosted a dinner at Camel One Restaurant, Manchester, in honor of senior journalist and editor-in-chief of Bhalika Newspaper Mudassar Butt, who came from Pakistan. The dinner was attended by Pakistani Consulate Manchester officer Chaudhary Amir and prominent figures of the community. On this occasion, the special guest Mudassar Butt thanked the hosts Basit Butt and Khawaja Kaleemur Rehman for hosting the dinner in his honor. He further said that overseas Pakistanis love their country Pakistan even while living abroad. Pakistan is running on the basis of remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis. Hosts Basit Butt and Khawaja Kaleemur Rehman welcomed Mudassar Butt to the UK. They said that Mudassar Butt always raised his voice for the common man through his pen and did a lot for Punjabi journalism, for which we pay tribute to him.
