According to UG news,Unqualified individuals from unrelated fields (HR, Engineering, Finance, etc.) are being appointed as Project Directors of nursing and allied health institutions in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They are known as “Breakers “compromising education, safety, and the future of healthcare.
KEY ISSUES EXPOSED
FRAUDULENT APPROVALS:
Approvals for BS Nursing, DPT, Radiology, MLT, emergency care and many associated Diplomas etc., are bought via under-the-table high range amount like 5-7 million AHPC approval and 10-12 million payments OR ARY GOLD PLATES for PNMC Approvals. Multiple Institutions in Peshawar KP are granted approvals without physical inspections by AHPC. The list of illegal affiliations of institutions by Allied Health professional Council has been recently shared on social media and the institutions are waiting for getting Approval from Examination and Degree awarding University to advertise the allied health Degrees and Diplomas Programs and to rise unprofessional and Non-Qualified Project BREAKERS belongs from HR, Management Sciences, and low capacity Finance Culprits, annual profits based on securing seats from examination and degree awarding organization to catch admission seeking candidates and to grab their parents hard earning money for the BREAKERS own illegal desires to fulfil their everlasting greed, Hungers, poverty, and unlimited corruption stories in their previous illegal projects.
Ghost Infrastructure:
Multiple programs run from a single inadequate facility hardly meet one- or 2-degree program with just a 40–50 bed OPD-level hospital, no proper skill labs for each degree program, insufficient classrooms,5-6 degrees required 24-30 classrooms as per regulatory body measurement 10 square feet per chair capacity for 50 and 100 students in class rooms request with tutorials, common rooms, prayers rooms, visiting rooms libraries, or auditoriums.
Unqualified Faculty & Nepotism:
Low-cost, unqualified relatives hired while qualified specialists are ignored. Salary standards (e.g., Nursing and allied health HOD: 400,000–600,000 PKR) are systematically violated.
Faculty qualifications expertise is violated by these NON-QUALIFIED BREAKERS WHO ARE HEADING NURSING INSTITUTIONS ESTABLISHMENT PROJECTS. Nursing and allied health Faculty’s salary should start from 100,000 – 1500,000 as per councils’ criteria and the faculties should not compromise on their professional conducts for the sake of these Unethical, vindictive, Irrevalant Project BREAKERS and should keck out all these culprits from the both dignified Profession.
No Clinical Training Links and paid intern ship for students.
Programs operate without MoUs with teaching hospitals, secondary care or teaching care hospitals rendering clinical training meaningless excepts their own 50-6- beds OPD level hospitals.
Corruption Ecosystem:
“Breakers” take average of 20–30% of annual profits from the institutions, sell admission seats, visiting faculty’s honorariums, MS, M.Phil., sell Degrees made agreement with different national and international universities and fake synopses level start from BS Projects up to M.Phil. and PhD, dissertations and manipulate approvals.
Critical Demand:
Only qualified nursing and allied health professionals with 10–15 years of field-specific experience should agreement for leading, taking, and looking after all nursing and Allied health projects for establishment, recognition, and affiliations of such institutions for quality control.
URGENT ACTIONS REQUIRED:
Suspend all approvals granted without physical inspection the list has been shared to investigation agencies to expose these high Corrupt BREAKERS with email prints, names, CV’s and evidence proofed Information their degrees and corruption audit should be done on major public interest to blacklist and prosecute corrupt “Breakers” and project directors in SECP, KEPRA, FBR, regulatory authorities, HEC, PNMC, KMU, HERA, AHPC, and all other councils for their unethical, unprofessional role of conduct. Need to conduct nationwide infrastructure and faculty audits. Mandate verified MoUs with accredited teaching hospitals. Publicly audit degrees and appointments of current Project directors of Nursing 7 health sciences.
