A prestigious prize distribution ceremony was held at the end of the cricket tournament at St Anne’s Parish Hall in Rochdale

Arif Ch. uk: With the efforts of businessmen and sportsmen of Rochdale, Syed Khalid Abbas-Sufian Khalid and businessman Muhammad Zubair Des Direct, an indoor and outdoor cricket tournament is organized in Rochdale every year. A prestigious prize distribution ceremony was held in the Parish Hall. Apart from Mayor Rochdale, Deputy Leader of Court Ali, Councilor Shakeel Ahmed, Councilor Rana Faisal, Councilor Iram Faisal, Councilor Sardar Shahid, Councilor Samina Zaheer, Councilor Prof. Iftikhar Ahmed, UK Europe’s entrepreneur Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood – Nazakat Khan Solicitor – Chowdhury Nawaz Indus-Community members and players of participating teams participated in the tournament. Shields were also given to those who performed well in the tournament. The enthusiastic and chief coordinator Syed Khalid Abbas said that last year we conducted an indoor cricket tournament which was very successful, so this year we conducted an indoor and outdoor tournament in which public interest was noticeable. Businessman Muhammad Zabeer said that the purpose of our two cricket tournaments is to save our young children from street crime and to reform them towards healthy activities. We congratulate Syed Khalid Abbas for organizing this tournament. Media Advisor Muhammad Zahid said that this tournament is to attract the youth towards sports. Next month we are conducting another indoor cricket tournament. Senior player and Empire Sohail Rana paid tribute to Syed Khalid Abbas for conducting a successful tournament. Councilor Samina. Zaheer gave credit to Khalid Bhai for making the tournament a success and said that we will always support him on behalf of Rochdale Council. Special guest Mayor Rochdale Councilor Ali Ahmed Hum congratulated all the players on getting the trophies and organizer Syed Khalid Abbas. In the end, the guests were treated to Lahori food
