According to Ug News Media Europe,A public hearing entitled Heydar Aliyev is the founder of modern Azerbaijani youth policy” dedicated to February 2 – Youth Day was held in the Milli Majlis under the organization of the Youth and Sports Committee.”Ug News Media Europe” informs that the hearing was attended by the Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, the Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee, Adil Aliyev, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Youth Fund, veterans of the Patriotic War, NGOs working in the field of youth, and university students.The event began with the playing of the National Anthem and commemorating the memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs with a minute of silence.
Adil Aliyev, the chairman of the youth and sports committee, said in his speech that the founder of Azerbaijan’s youth policy, as well as the declaration of February 2 as Youth Day in the country, is connected with the name of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.According to him, during the reign of the national leader, the youth became the driving force of the country, the education of the youth was identified as a priority area in our country: “Today, the youth policy of modern Azerbaijan is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, who is a worthy follower of Heydar Aliyev’s policy in all fields. Today, the youth of Azerbaijan is attached to the results of science and sports olympiads, as well as to the highly innovative skills they have demonstrated, as well as to their patriotism and national-spiritual values. It was the youth of Azerbaijan, formed as a result of the youth policy of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, who gave us a historic victory in the Patriotic War under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.The great leader Heydar Aliyev, by coming to power in the difficult day of the people, not only saved Azerbaijan from disintegration, but prevented the danger of the disintegration of our state. In such a difficult period, he never forgot the young people, he always met with them, was interested in their education and concerns.The great leader Heydar Aliyev has many historical decisions regarding the youth.These decisions are the cornerstones of Azerbaijan’s state youth policy,” added the chairman of the committee.Touching on the active participation of young people in the protest action held on the Khankendi-Lachin road, A. Aliyev emphasized that our young people are continuing the victories achieved by our heroic soldiers on the battlefield with dignity in other battlefields: “Our young people actively and tirelessly participate in the environmental action, the voice of our country’s right to the world is at a high level are taking steps towards delivery.The determination shown by our young people in the action is positively received in the society of Azerbaijan. Indeed, our young people are showing a real example of patriotism there, they are participating in an activity that will go down in textbooks.Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Farhad Hajiyev said that the foundations of youth policy in Azerbaijan were laid during the time when the great leader was in power. The main goal of the Ministry is always aimed at the formation of a new generation in the country that adapts to the national traditions, history, culture, and statehood of our country.The achievements of our youth in recent years are obvious. This is the result of the attention and care that First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva showed to the field of youth policy.
In the continuation of the event, proposals of leaders of youth organizations and young people, and issues of interest to them were discussed.At the end, the young participants of the event got acquainted with the hall of the plenary meeting of the MM and took a commemorative photo.
