Berlin:(Report by Chief Ikramuddin) According to Ug News Media Europe,In Germany, the number of assaults causing bodily harm in 2022 increased by nearly 20% compared to the same period in 2021, reaching 2,118. reports that Ug News News agency EU informed about this.In 2021, German police and federal state law enforcement agencies recorded a total of 1,890 crimes related to politically motivated injuries in the country. In 2022, this number reached 2118 cases.
But the German government, in response to a request from the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) faction in the Bundestag, clarified that these figures are preliminary and subject to correction.
The German government emphasized that, according to preliminary data, more than a thousand of the 3,600 politically motivated acts of violence registered last year were committed by right-wingers. Only more than 700 cases were related to left-wing criminals.
