A delegation of Manchester Future Vision led by Syed Sajjad Haider Kazmi visited the European Parliament on the occasion of International Women’s Day. When this delegation of Manchester Future Vision reached the European Parliament in Brussels, the Chairman Kashmir Council EU welcomed them and conveyed a message of goodwill from the Council.
During the visit, the delegation met the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Livia Yuruka, and Princess Sylvia Sisowath of Cambodia, in which they had a detailed discussion regarding the unequal treatment of women and their basic human rights around the world. Apart from this, other members of Manchester Future Vision, Dr. Najam Shah, Muhammad Anwar, Syed Imtiaz Hussain and Syed Babar Ali, who are part of the delegation, spoke about the violation of women’s freedom and rights in Africa, Europe, Asia and especially in Kashmir and their remedies.
