Jammu Kashmir Self-Determination Movement International Team organized an Eid reception on Sunday 21 April 2024 at the residence of Chairperson JKSDMI (Cheshire) Neena Rania Khan in which Member of British Parliament Andrew Gwynn MP and Chairman Labor Friends. of Kashmir UK, Lord Mayor of Manchester Councilor Yasmin Dar, Majid Dar Councilor Manchester and others participated. Dignitaries attended. On her behalf, Neena Rania Khan welcomed and thanked all the guests for attending the dinner. Raja Najabat Hussain, founder chairman of Jammu Kashmir Tehreek Haq Khud Aradit International, thanked all the participants and informed them about India’s illegal occupation of Occupied Kashmir. Informed the participants about the latest situation in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir state and specifically mentioned the Indian general elections which the Kashmiris of the whole world have completely refused to accept. Raja Najabat Hussain told the politicians that they are Kashmiris. Support the nation’s right to self-determination and raise the Kashmir issue at every national and international forum and be the voice of the oppressed Kashmiris and expose the ugly face of India. Raja Najabat Hussain said that there are recognized resolutions of the United Nations on Kashmir, in the light of which the whole world should support the Kashmiris to give them the right to self-determination and practical steps should be taken in this regard. Member of British Parliament Andrew Gavin MP gave a powerful speech in support of Kashmir and Palestinians on this occasion. He said that he has seen a lot in his visit to Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir and he himself is an eyewitness of that. The region of Kashmir is actually a paradise in the world and is considered as one of the most beautiful regions in the world. He said that the violation of human rights in Kashmir should be stopped and the region of the most beautiful and peaceful people in the world like Kashmir should get their right to self-determination. For more than seven decades, no international attention has been paid to the Kashmir issue and serious violations of human rights by India continue in Occupied Kashmir, but the silence of the international community remains a question mark. He said that Britain and all the countries of the world should pay special attention to the Kashmir issue and an immediate and lasting solution should be found to this issue. He said that he is personally very sorry that the people of Occupied Kashmir and Palestine are being deprived of their basic rights and the international community should give the people of Occupied Kashmir and Palestine their basic right of self-determination. The United Nations and international organizations should play their role in this regard. Lord Mayor Yasmin Dar and Raja Najabat Hussain paid special tribute to Neena Rania Khan for hosting the dinner. Members of the Jammu Kashmir Self-determination International Team and others appealed to women, youth and international organizations in the UK, Europe and the world to stand in solidarity with Kashmiris to raise their voice for the issue of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Urged for an immediate and lasting solution in accordance with recognized UN resolutions.
