On Saturday 11th May (Sabira Naheed Manchester) Easter and Eid party was organized by Press Club of Pakistan UK. In which Community Welfare Attaché General of Pakistan Misbah Noreen and Lord Mayor Yasmin Dar participated as special guests. Humira Sana presented flowers to both the guests. The program was started by Naat Rasool Maqbool recited by former president of Press Club and Finance Secretary Mehboob Butt. While the duties of Nizamat were performed by Mahmood Khan and Sabra Naheed. Nasrullah Mughal and Sabra Naheed performed the duties of registration. Parvez Masih presided over the event. Parvez Masih said that the Press Club of Pakistan UK is an organization of Britain which not only protects the rights of journalists but is also working vigorously to highlight the culture and civilization of Pakistan while living in the UK and that is why we are working closely with the Journalists Association of Pakistan. Mian Mohammad Azam thanked the guests. Warsa Theater presented a short play titled Peace and Harmony which was written by Radhi and directed and acted by Saifur Rahman. Farida Lakhira and Zaheer Lakhira entertained the audience by singing beautiful songs. Nasrullah Mughal appreciated the skills of all the team. Chief guest Misbah Noreen, Yasmin Dar and MP Afzal Khan congratulated the Press Club of Pakistan UK for presenting the best program and said that these types of programs should continue while living abroad. Central President of Journalists Association of Pakistan Mian Amir Ali congratulated the newly elected members of the Press Club and expressed hope that the Journalists Association and the Press Club will continue to work together. Mayor Naeemul Hasan, former Lord Mayor Abid Chauhan, Councilor Basit Sheikh, newly elected Councilor Uzmi Jafari, Councilor Isha and Councilor Ghazala, former cricketer Tariq Khan, Jagtar Singh Sherry, Syed Sajjad Shah, Father Falak Sher and Manchester and surrounding political, social and Businessmen participated. Among the journalists, Mian Aamir Ali, Tariq Lodhi and others participated.
