A special event was held at the University of Bolton to strengthen mutual relations between the UK and Pakistan. Consul General Tariq Wazir Khan, posted at the Pakistani Consulate in Manchester, Professor Zubair Hounslow, Professor Dr. Don Whitman, Scottish Heritage representative David, Professor Paul, Steven John, local charity representative Khalida Ali – Chairman of the Musarat Group Chaudhry Musarat – Chief Executive of Smile Aid Abubakar Sarsar and others participated. The ceremony was graced by eminent personality Marcus Nadine Nisar. Consul General Tariq Wazir Khan said that efforts are being made to strengthen the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UK. He further said that Pakistan is a safe country for investment and we invite investors to invest in Pakistan. Professor Zubair Hounslow said that we are proud to promote the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UK. He further said that we are opening a campus of the University of Bolton in Islamabad, which will further strengthen our bilateral relations. David said that we have a golden opportunity to further strengthen the relations between the UK and Pakistan. Professor Powell also welcomed the strengthening of relations. Steven Jones said that this is a golden opportunity for us to bring Pakistan and the UK closer to each other. Khalida Ali, a representative of a local charity, paid tribute to the efforts of the University of Bolton to further strengthen the relations between Pakistan and the UK by promoting mutual harmony between the community.
