Former Mayor of Tameside Council Councillor Tafin Sharif – Deputy Mayor Councillor Shibli Alam -, Councillor Naila Sharif, the spirited member of the Welcome Group, and other leading women participated.

The Light on the Darkness charity, led by Beatrice and her team, held a ceremony at Holy Trinity Church, Ashton, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Former Mayor of Tameside Council Councillor Tafin Sharif, Deputy Mayor of Tameside Councillor Shibli Alam, former Deputy Leader of Oldham Councillor Shahid Mushtaq, Councillor Naila Sharif, the spirit of the Welcome Group, former Deputy Leader of Oldham Councillor Shahid Mushtaq, Noreen Shahzad, Sameera, Abitros, Mikosa and other leading women participated. Former Mayor Councillor Tafin Sharif said that the Light on the Darkness charity is playing a prominent role in the welfare and well-being of women. He further said that we come together on International Women’s Day to express complete solidarity with the intercultural community. These women should help women in need. This is how the world works. Councilor Naila Sharif said that it is a pleasure for women from the intercultural community to come together on International Women’s Day. We should all help each other. Mikosa said that she would like to thank the women who organized this event and who are committed to the welfare of women. Deputy Mayor Councilor Shibli Alam said that the role of women is important in the development and progress of society, without which society cannot progress. Other women participating in the event also said that we thank the Light in the Darkness Welfare Organization for organizing a beautiful event on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Beatrice, the spirit of the organization, thanked the intercultural community for their full participation on behalf of herself and the entire team.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Light in the Darkness Welfare Organization brought together women from the intercultural community and gave a positive message.
