A graceful and commendable ceremony was recently held at Central Library Manchester, organized by Longsight councillors Abid Chauhan and Suzanne Richards. The event was dedicated to recognizing and honouring volunteers, charity workers, and members of small community groups who have made outstanding contributions to society.
The main objective of the event was to appreciate individuals who selflessly dedicate their valuable time and energy for the betterment of humanity, without any personal gain. The Chief Guest, the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Carmine Grimshaw, personally distributed certificates of appreciation among the participants.
