A new commander-in-chief has been appointed to Iran’s Law Enforcement Forces.

According to Ug News Media Europe,General Ahmadreza Radan has been appointed the new commander-in-chief of Iran’s Law Enforcement Forces.”Ug News Media Europe Report” informs that information about this was spread on the Twitter page of the supreme leader of Iran, Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
He replaced Brigadier General Huseyn Ashtari in this post.The supreme leader emphasized the improvement of the capabilities of the police organization, the protection of the dignity of employees and the training of specialized policemen for various security fields as the main recommendations to the new command. Khamenei noted that various institutions of the state are expected to cooperate with the law enforcement agency.
It should be noted that A. Radan previously worked as the deputy commander of the Iranian Law Enforcement Forces, the head of the police departments of Tehran, Sistan-Baluchistan and Khorasan provinces. He was one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Guards in the Iran-Iraq war. He was wounded 4 times in the war. The United States declared A. Radan as a person responsible for serious human rights violations against Iranian citizens or their family members.
