A six-over cricket tournament was held in the memory of late Pervez Tanveer at Miltham Cricket Club Huddersfield. The final match was played between Nalla Shaheen and Kashmir Butcher cricket teams. Which Kashmir Bachar won by eight wickets

In the beautiful grounds of Miltham Cricket Club, Huddersfield, a six-over cricket tournament was held in memory of the late young cricketer Pervez Tanveer, in which several teams participated and entertained cricket fans with their game. The final match was played between Nalla Shaheen and Kashmir Bachar cricket teams. In a battle of nerves, Kashmir Bachar completed the target of 70 runners given by Nalla Shaheen’s team with the loss of only two wickets and won the trophy. The highlight of the tournament was the beat of the drum from the beginning to the end of the tournament which was important in enhancing the enjoyment of Shahqeen cricket. On this occasion, Abdul Waheed, the brother-in-law of late Parvez Tanveer, said that the tournament was organized in the name of the late father, in which the youth participated fully. A local resident holding said that the tournament was thoroughly enjoyed. Tournament organizer Muhammad Sajid thanked the teams participating in the tournament who played a role in making the Parvez Tanveer Memorial Cricket Tournament a success. Muhammad Nadeem, a member of the organizing committee, said that we have organized the fifth cricket tournament in the memory of the late Parvez Tanveer. are grateful Abdullah Manzoor, a young man from Pakistan, said that he found an atmosphere like Pakistan in the tournament and holding the tournament on the month of Independence Day made it even more fun. We got a chance to play cricket by participating.

The enthusiasm of the Pakistani and Kashmiri community living in Huddersfield and especially the youth played a key role in making the cricket tournament a success.
