New British Prime Minister Andy Burnham says Britain must show it can regain stability and that is his challenge.
Speaking to supporters and journalists outside the British Prime Minister’s official residence on Monday, Andy Burnham said that politicians of his generation must improve their performance and confront the challenges they face.
Burnham said that as prime minister, he is committed to creating a new economy in which the necessities of life will be back under government control so that they can be made affordable again.
He said that later this year, he will prepare a 10-year plan for Britain, which will show the path where he wants to take the country.
Member of British Parliament Afzal Khan congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming prime minister and said that he will do the same for the people of the whole of Britain, following the example of the Mayor of Greater Manchester
