The special ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of Ashton Central Mosque Azeem Butt, the Central Leader and Trustee of Ashton Group Haji Muhammad Azram, Imam of Mosque Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman, Hafiz Akhtar, – Dr. Akram – Mrs. Nabila Akram – Adam who performed voluntary services and other volunteers. Chairperson Azeem Butt said on this occasion that we have purchased thirty-four cabins and with the help of volunteers, we will help the needy people from the food bank. Imam of Mosque Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman said that our religion Islam teaches us to help the needy. The hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is that peace, peace, love
And feed the needy, in that is your good. Haji Azram said that the food bank has been working for a long time, but today we have started it with a permanent container, which will benefit the intercultural and religious community and as a Muslim community, it has been our way to help each other. I am here to help the needy. Hafiz Akhtar said that Allah Almighty has clearly commanded in the Holy Quran that the first responsibility of Muslims is to offer prayers and the first responsibility for humanity is to feed the needy. Adam, Dr. Akram and Mrs. Nabila Akram, other volunteers who are doing voluntary services, said that Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) has taught peace, love and feeding the needy. We are following this and it is very difficult to do all this without the help of volunteers. We also thank them.
Ashton Central Mosque and Community Center is an example of meeting the basic needs of the needy people of the intercultural and interfaith community at the local level.
