According to global Times Media Europe,In 2021, Azerbaijan exported 8.2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas to European markets, and 11.3 bcm in 2022 and this number will reach at least 11.6 bcm in 2023, said President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at a plenary session dedicated to the signing of the “Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the field of development and transfer of Green energy in Romania.
President Ilham Aliyev also highlighted that Azerbaijan exported 24 bcm of natural gas in 2023; however, this figure was 19 bcm in 2021.
