Baseball Performance Flavored Limited UK’s Shiraz Chauhan and his team organized a blind baseball tournament between teams of visually impaired people from the UK, Pakistan and Italy. The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by Lord Mayor of Manchester City Council Carmine Grimshaw, Deputy Lord Mayor Shaukat Ali, Member of British Parliament and Advisor on Trade Turkia Afzal Khan

While the special guests at the final were Welfare Attaché at the Pakistani Consulate in Manchester Misbah Noreen and Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Shaukat Ali. Former Lord Mayor Manchester City Councillor Naeemul Hassan and other prominent personalities participated. After a thrilling match in the final match, Italy defeated Pakistan by one point to win the trophy. The fans could not help but praise the courage and passion of the visually impaired and said that if a person has courage, no physical or mental disability can stop him from his goal. British Trade Advisor for Turkey Afzal Khan said that teams from the international level participated in order for the visually impaired to achieve their passion and goal, which is commendable and proud. Lord Mayor of Manchester City Council Carmine Grimshaw described the tournament organized for the visually impaired as useful for establishing a healthy society. Saima Ashraf said that she felt good about being a part of the tournament by representing the British baseball team. Pakistan baseball team coach Osama Amjad paid tribute to the administration for organizing a wonderful tournament and congratulated them. Deputy Lord Mayor Councillor Shaukat Ali and former Lord Mayor Councillor Naeemul Hassan thanked the organizers, especially Shiraz, and said that organizing such physical activities for the disabled is very important. Host Shiraz Khan said that it is an honor for him to organize such sports activities for the physically challenged and the visually impaired. Chief Guest Welfare Attaché Misbah Noreen said that he was eager to participate in such physical activities of the disabled and I am proud to participate in the tournament. Other participants in the tournament also emphasized the continuation of such activities for the disabled. Umpires from Italy and Pakistan, including Saif and others, and Ben from the UK, said that the tournament was a tough competition and we congratulate Shiraz Chauhan and his team for organizing a wonderful tournament.
