The delegation included Overseas Human Rights Moment UK Chairman Asif Rashid Butt – President Majid Nazir – General Secretary Syed Salman Shah – Vice President Syed Khalid Abbas – Chaudhry Nasrullah – – Ashfaq Baig – Rana Imran – Omar Butt. On this occasion, Mayor Janet Emsley said that I thank Chaudhry Karim and his delegation for coming to my chamber. They were originally from Rochdale and they are actively involved in welfare work along with business, so I presented them with shields and certificates of appreciation for their community work. Chaudhry Abdul Karim thanked them for giving them the special shield. He said that in this very hall I received a British nationality certificate and I am proud to be receiving the award today – his son Faisal Karim and Najwan community leader Omar Asif also thanked the Mayor of Rochdale
