London Arif Chaudhry
The convention of Pakistanis in Islamabad was very successful. It was a historic convention. It was held after many years. It was very necessary to heal the wounds of Pakistan. The workers and officials of all political parties in Pakistan among the overseas Pakistanis should turn to the state. When the state is saying that the overseas Pakistanis are our ambassadors, then we should not play our tambourine. Go to Pakistan and criticize, of course. While staying here, you should think about what role you can play for the betterment of Pakistan. You should see what your demands have been fulfilled and what the state has not fulfilled yet. There is nothing to be gained by doing negative propaganda. These views were expressed by the Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Overseas Commission Punjab, Barrister Amjad Malik, a legal expert, in an interview with a senior British journalist and anchor Arif In an exclusive interview given to Chaudhry, he further said that most of the problems of immigrants in Punjab are related to the occupation of their land. He said that the Punjab government has approved the establishment of forty-one special courts in different districts of Pakistan. The problems of immigrants will be resolved on priority basis through special courts in collaboration with district committees. He said that now the occupation mafia will not be able to grow in Punjab. Since assuming office, I have organized nine conferences on a small scale in which people got the opportunity to make their concerns known. Regarding the Pahalgam incident, he said that India is a big country and they should look at sensitive issues from this perspective. Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism. He said that world powers should fight terrorism together. The Pahalgam incident is sad. India should conduct a joint investigation into it and when someone is found guilty, then they should be held guilty and not let arrows be fired at the air. He said that just like the extremists of India broke the windows of the Pakistan High Commission in London, it is a despicable act. India should know that even if we have political differences, when it comes to the state, the nation is united. The immigrants stand like a leaden wall against the motherland.
