Former Mayor Dr Zahid Chauhan said that it is an honour for me and I will continue to serve the local people. British MP Jim McMann said that Dr Zahid Chauhan has done voluntary services to provide medical facilities to the homeless and he deserved to be awarded this honour. Consul General Imtiaz Feroz Gondal said that it is an honour for me to attend this ceremony. Pakistanis and Kashmiris are doing outstanding services in various sectors of the UK, which highlights the positive image of Pakistan. Oldham Council’s first Asian councillor, Javed Iqbal, said that Dr Zahid Chohan is a sociable and has a passion for serving humanity. Oldham Council leader Urooj Shah said that this position is given to very few people and it is a matter of pride for all of us to be awarded this award. Beacon Medical Group Chairman Dr Tariq Chohan said that Dr Zahid Chohan has received another high honor today, which our family is proud of. Deputy Lieutenant and founder of the Tea Group Najma Khalid, Deputy Leader Abdul Jabbar. Councillors Shahid Mushtaq, Councillor Junaid Hussain, Councillor Sajid Hussain – Councillor Nassim Aslam, Councillor Nadeem Iqbal – Councillor Chaudhry Aftab Hussain, former mayor Chaudhry Riaz Ahmed and others also congratulated Dr Zahid Chohan.
