A well-known social figure of Jhelum and the General Secretary of Young Welfare Council Pakistan, District Jhelum, Ghafran Ahmed Qureshi, has passed away. News of his demise has saddened social, welfare, and religious circles throughout the city.
The late Ghafran Ahmed Qureshi was known for his dedication to humanitarian work, community service, and public welfare. He spent a significant part of his life helping those in need and actively participating in charitable and social initiatives. His services to the community will be remembered for years to come.
His funeral prayer was attended by the Founder and Central Chairman of Young Welfare Council Pakistan, Malik Tanveer Naushahi, the Patron-in-Chief of District Jhelum, Syed Tahir Mahmood Shah, along with Muhammad Asif, Sajjad Qureshi, Mushtaq Ahmed, Yousaf Butt, and many other friends, community leaders, social workers, and religious personalities from Jhelum.
Speakers on the occasion paid tribute to the late Ghafran Ahmed Qureshi, describing him as a sincere, compassionate, and selfless individual who was always ready to help others. They stated that his passing is not only a great loss to his family but also an irreparable loss to the entire community of Jhelum.
Special prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the deceased and for his elevation in the hereafter. Participants prayed that Almighty Allah grants him a place in His eternal mercy and gives patience and strength to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
