According to Ug News Media Europe,Italy and Japan have agreed to start bilateral security talks for defense cooperation.Ug news MEDIA EUROPE reports that the agreement was reached at the meeting of Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni and his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida.F. Kishida, who came to Italy as part of a visit to the G7 countries, said that Tokyo and Rome decided to start security talks after the progress achieved in defense cooperation. He noted that the agreement reached will facilitate cooperation in the field of industry and security.Giorgio Meloni said that Italy is interested in continuous defense cooperation with Japan.
