Jhelum Minerals Department staff began to receive daily extortion of millions of rupees in the name of alleged collusion contract, Minerals Department did not give any contract near Mangla Dam, no contract for 1 year. According to the details, extortion is being charged per cent in the name of contract from the drivers of dumpers, trolleys, crushing, gravel, load of sand near Pindi turn on the banks of Jhelum river. It has been more than a year since the contract was canceled at the government level, but even today dozens of dumpers, tractor-trolleys loaded crushing, sand and gravel from Pindi turn on a daily basis and transported it to the city and suburbs. It is worth mentioning here that the thugs of the self-proclaimed contractor have set up formal culverts, such as dump, dump trucks loaded with crashes, sand, gravel, and tractor-trolley drivers at a rate of one per cent (one hundred feet).

Excise collection continues. Despite knowing everything, the staff of the Department of Minerals continues to support the extortion mafia. Proof of this is the fact that the contractors of the contracts which were canceled 1 year ago are still working continuously due to which there is a fear of damage to the Mangla Dam due to rock coming out from under the foundations of the Mangla Dam.

The Environment Department has informed the officers while the District Officers of the Minerals Department are continuing the stone quarrying work with the support of the extortion mafia, the residents of the area demanded from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff. He said that criminal cases should be registered against the owners of Crash for extracting stones from the foundations of Mangla Dam and the officials of Jhelum District Minerals Department who were supporting them so that the shadow of fear hovering over the heads of Jhelum residents could be removed.
