Lahore Leeds University organizes Women Empowerment Seminar “Transforming Youth for Better Pakistan”

A meaningful seminar “Transforming Youth for Better Pakistan” was organized at Lahore Leeds University regarding Women Empowerment
*, whose special guest was Ms. Mehjabeen Khan Abbasi Advocate (MNA). In addition to being a member of the National Assembly, Member of the Governor Body, Law and Justice, Mahjabeen Khan Abbasi is also a member of the National Assembly Parliament Overseas Committee, who is playing an active role for women’s rights and social development.
The seminar discussed in detail the character building, self-reliance and positive thinking of the youth, especially women.
In his address, Chief Guest Mehjabeen Khan Abbasi emphasized on adopting positive thinking, becoming the support of the government itself and each individual to do their part responsibly.

He said that change is possible only with determination and strong will, while the new blood is more committed and conscious than before. We are all one, the need is to recognize ourselves and utilize our collective power.
Mah Jabeen Khan Abbasi, while making the study of the Holy Quran with translation mandatory, said that walking with Islam and social life is the guarantee of success. He also shed light on the work on international laws, the respect and status enjoyed by women in Pakistan, and the effective role of women in social reform under Islamic principles.
He called the need to provide a platform for upcoming lawyers, the importance of responsible discourse and self-reliance the key to a successful future.
The event was also attended by Chairman Leeds University Lahore Zahoor Wattoo, Vice Chancellor Nadeem Bhatti, President Hamza Wattoo, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Ishtiaq Gondal, Khalid Mahmood Chaudhry and others.
