



The Qul ceremony ( Sabira Naheed ) of Dr. Mahwish Jabeen Chaudhry, Manager of the Pakistani Community Centre, social and community worker, and a qualified psychologist, was held on Sunday, 1st February, at the local mosque. A large number of men and women attended the gathering to offer prayers for the departed soul.
The Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust team arranged a Quran recitation and Khatam during the ceremony. Prominent guests, including Labour Party MP Lucy Powell, Mayor Andy Burnham, and local councillors, were present on the occasion and expressed their deep sorrow and condolences over the passing of Dr. Mahwish Jabeen Chaudhry.
Speakers paid tribute to her outstanding services to the community, describing her as a dedicated and compassionate individual whose loss will be deeply felt.
Prayers were offered for her eternal peace, asking Almighty Allah to grant her Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience and strength to her family during this difficult time.
