On the blessed night of Laylatul Qadr, a spiritually uplifting ceremony marking the completion of the recitation of the Holy Qur’an during Taraweeh prayers was held at Jamia Masjid Iqra, Manchester. A large number of worshippers attended the gathering, creating a deeply spiritual and peaceful atmosphere in the mosque.
During the event, respected scholar Allama Hafiz Iftikhar Sialvi delivered an inspiring address highlighting the importance of the Holy Qur’an and the honourable status of those who memorize it. He explained that the Qur’an is a complete guide for humanity and a source of light and guidance for all believers.
He further emphasized that Huffaz (memorizers of the Qur’an) hold a very special place in Islam, as they dedicate their lives to preserving the words of Allah. He encouraged the community to respect and support them and to strengthen their connection with the Qur’an in daily life.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, congratulations were extended to the Huffaz who completed the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Special prayers were offered for their success and for the well-being of the Muslim community.
The blessed gathering concluded with heartfelt supplications, as worshippers continued their prayers and devotion during the sacred night of Laylatul Qadr.
