ITALY:(International Desk) According to a foreign news agency, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas for Italy Ikramuddin said that mother Language is the foundation of human identity, dignity and civilized heritage. He said that Pakistan is a beautiful and colorful bouquet of languages. He said that mother Language is the first voice of children and the guardian of their inherited knowledge and tradition, which plays a fundamental role in shaping their personality. Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas for Italy Ikramuddin said in his message on the occasion of International Mother Language Day that innumerable renowned poets and writers were born in the mother Language of Pakistan, who through their creations brought glory to the country at the national and international levels. These languages are the precious legacy of our ancestors, whose protection, promotion and development is the common responsibility of all of us. He added that coordinated measures are essential for the protection and development of mother tongues so that future generations can be firmly connected to their cultural roots and national unity can be further strengthened.
