Oldham Council organizes Milad-un-Nabi ceremony

A special Milad-un-Nabi ceremony was organized by representatives of Oldham Council and Councillor Urooj Shah and his team at the JR Clancy Building Cultural Quarter, Oldham, which was presided over by Maulana Qari Syed Abdul Shakoor Qadri, Founder and Chairman of Oldham Council of Mosques
and a great religious scholar. Mayor of Oldham Councillor Eddie Morales specially attended the ceremony.
After the recitation and naat, Qari Muhammad Rasib said that Qari Syed Abdul Shakoor Qadri has been fulfilling the responsibility of Chairman of the Oldham Council of Mosques (OMC) for 24 consecutive years in a good manner. It is a matter of great honor for all the Ulema and Mosque Committee members and participants of Oldham that we are participating in the grand ceremony of Milad-un-Nabi under the chairmanship and leadership of Qari Syed Abdul Shakoor Qadri. Along with the recitation and naat, the Mayor of Oldham and Councillor Urooj Shah also thanked the Chairman of the Oldham Council of Mosques and the entire Muslim community. In his presidential address, Qari Syed Abdul Shakoor Qadri gave a beautiful speech on the greatness and glory of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said that our Holy Prophet is a mercy of Allah Almighty who came for the entire universe and it is a great privilege to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet. He thanked Councillor Urooj Shah and the entire team of Oldham Council and said that we have been continuously providing high services to the Muslim community from the platform of the Oldham Council of Mosques for 24 years. In this Milad ceremony, Maulana Attaullah Shah, Maulana Atiq Hussain, Qari Muhammad Zia Chishti, Qari Farooq Noorani, Qari Muhammad Rasib, Haji Muhammad Arshad, Qari Shabbir Khan, Haji Muhammad Aslam, Chaudhry Iqbal, Raja Aftab Sharif, Raja Umar Sharif, Haji Shakeel Ahmed, Hafiz Muhammad Raza, Hafiz Naveed, Councilor Naveed Chauhan, Councilor Nadeem Iqbal, Haji Waseem Iqbal and others participated.
