The ceremony was attended by Shagufta Majid, representative of the Al-Azmire Society, former Mayor Councillor Fida Hussain, Deputy Mayor Oldham Councillor Brian Hoban, Manager of Oldham College Lee Holland and representative of Chelsea, Representative of Action Together Group Jane English White, Sabir, who has rendered professional services to Oldham Council and other leading figures. Former Mayor Councillor Fida Hussain said that he was very impressed to see such wonderful facilities inside the center. He added that he was very happy to attend the ceremony. Those who do voluntary services are the architects of our town. Stacey said that some students who I have adorned with the jewel of education were also awarded with awards. Shagfata Majid thanked the Chief Executive of the center, Muhammad Sarwar Chishti, whose efforts made it possible for the volunteers to be awarded. Deputy Mayor Councillor Brian Hoban said that it is very good to see the wonderful charitable works of the community of Oldham Town. Representatives of Oldham College, Lee Holland, Mia and Chelsea also highly appreciated the ceremony of awarding Raza Laish. Sabir, who does voluntary services in Oldham Council, said that Muhammad Sarwar Chishti is working to promote and learn the Urdu language, which will help in working with the intercultural community. Others at the event said that recognizing the services of volunteers at a local level would inspire others to do the same.
The Centre for Wellbeing Training and Culture has achieved impressive prominence in a short period of time within Oldham, making its services highly regarded and recognised within the interfaith and cultural community.
