The deceased held a prominent position in the community due to his gentleness, sociability, humility and charitable work – The late Councillor Naveed Chauhan – Tanveer Taz – Waheed – Saeed – Sohail and Hafiz Aqeel’s father and Haji Shahid Altaf – Haji Zafar Islam’s brother – His funeral prayers were offered at the Islamic European Centre Oldham – which was attended by political, social, religious and business figures, as well as dear relatives, friends and close associates – It was a very big funeral in the history of Oldham – Other participants included prominent religious scholar Maulana Shafiqur-ur-Rehman – Former Mayor of Rochdale Councillor Shakeel Ahmed – Former Mayor of Oldham Councillor Dr. Zahid Chauhan – Councillor Zaheer – Councillor Fida Hussain – Judge Barrister Abid Hussain – Haji Bashir Jamati – Former Coordinator Prime Minister Azad Kashmir. Raja Maqsood Hussain – Businessman Naseem Khan – Chaudhry Iqbal – Ashfaq Warsi – Maulana Qari Muhammad Aslam Sialvi – Maulana Abdul Shakoor Qadri were present – The participants in the funeral said that the deceased had a very simple nature and spent his entire life in community service and welfare work – His religious services will also be remembered forever – The participants expressed their heartfelt condolences and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant the deceased a high place in Paradise and grant him the intercession and visitation of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Amen and grant patience to the bereaved family.
