Open Kitchen Manchester is the only project in the world that, for more than five consecutive years, has been providing free food and essential daily items every single day to those in need. This entire effort is carried out independently, with the support of a few dedicated friends and partner organizations — we do not receive any kind of government or external funding.

Our Organization Runs Four Core Programs:
1. Urdu Global Media Network
A powerful platform representing the Urdu language, culture, and community across the world. Our key media platforms include:

Urdu Global Newspaper – a quality publication amplifying the voice of the community.

2. Open Kitchen Manchester – Food Bank
We provide free food and basic necessities daily to those in need.
Our mission is:
“No one should sleep hungry.”

3. UG Arts and Culture Group
This group organizes cultural, recreational, and social events for the community.
We arrange day trips every year.
The purpose of these trips is to give an opportunity to those individuals who are otherwise unable to go out, so they too can enjoy refreshing natural environments, joy, and social interaction.
This year, we have already organized three successful trips, and the fourth one is scheduled for 17th August.
4. UG Women’s Wing
This wing focuses on empowering women, addressing their issues, and providing support.
Organizing various workshops, sessions, and events for women.
Hosting an annual awards ceremony to recognize and honor outstanding contributions within the community.
