Councillor Nadeem Ahmed was elected as the Mayor of Pendle fifteen years ago – On this occasion, the newly elected Mayor Nadeem Ahmed said that he has been the Mayor before and it is a matter of pride for him to be elected to this position for the second time. He said that all this is the result of the grace of Allah Almighty and the prayers of his parents. He will work for all the communities living in the former Tarra Pendal – During the ceremony, the participants including former Mayor Chaudhry Aslam Jowar – Barrister Afzal Ahmed – Councilor Muhammad Iqbal – Councilor Zafar Ali – Deputy Leader Councilor Asjad Mahmood – Councilor Yasir Iqbal – Mehr Asad Mahmood congratulated Nadeem Ahmed on being elected as the mayor for the second time and expressed their best wishes for him. He further said that Mayor Nadeem Ahmed has achieved this position due to his hard work – higher education – and the excellent training of his parents, which makes his family and community proud of him.
Being elected to this important position for the second time is being considered a unique honor, because it is very rare that a personality is elected mayor again.
The ceremony ended in a pleasant atmosphere where the participants appreciated Nadeem Ahmed’s leadership and his services.
