In May 2018, US President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear agreement and reinstated unilateral sanctions against Iran. In response, Tehran began to reduce its obligations to limit its nuclear program within the framework of the agreement.The current President of the United States, Joseph Biden, said that he is ready to return to the nuclear agreement under certain conditions.
