Lahore:(Special Correspondent) According to UG News,an important awareness seminar on growing population was held in Rawalakot with the support of the Population Welfare Department, in which students and teachers participated in full. The event was presided over by the Director General of Population Welfare, the DG Population Welfare and experts also told the students important points regarding family planning, maintaining a balance between resources and needs, and responsible decision-making. He said that planning is essential for a strong and prosperous family, and it is the need of the hour to make the younger generation aware of this. At the end of the seminar, the students appreciated the efforts of the Population Welfare Department and said that such awareness programs play an important role in bringing about positive change in the society. In this awareness seminar, Director General Population Welfare Department AJK Dr. Aftab Hussain Khan, Principal Regional Training Institute Muzaffarabad Dr. Humaira Faisal, DHO Rawalakot and Principal Sardar Bahadur Ali Khan Government Postgraduate College Rawalakot gave lectures to the students, in which the students also asked questions.
