The 60th Annual World Poetry Festival was organized by the founder and president of the International Poetry and Literature Fund UK, International Poet Naghmana Kanwal Sheikh, Chairman Sheikh Imtiaz Iqbal and their team at the Oldham Library.

The special guest was Mumtaz Malik, founder and president of Rah Adab France, Syed Sarwar Ghazali, Raja Farooq Haider, Kishore Tabat from Germany, while the chairmanship was held by Dr. Syed Taqi Ali Abidi from Canada. The hosting duties were performed by the founder and president of the International Poetry and Literature Fund UK, Nomana Kanwal – Sabra Naheed Chaudhry and Mian Aamir. Sheikh Imtiaz, Chairman of Khazeena Sher Wadab International UK, welcomed the guests, Syed Sajjad Haider Shah – Shamshad Waheed Ghani, Asim Mansoor, Mahmood Asghar Chaudhry – Syed Al-Ma’arif Shah and members of Khazeena Sher Wadab International UK Shabnam Mirza, Saira Poona Wale, Seeman Sheikh, Sameera Arif, Sabra Naheed Chaudhry – Masha’il Aqeel, Kokub Naz, Humaira Sana, Mian Aamir Ali, Shahzad Mirza, Sabih Sheikh, Dr. Ibrahim, Sughra, Muhammad Ashraf, Abeda Sheikh, Liaquat Ali Ahed, – Muhammad Siddique Poona Wale and others participated and made the world poetry festival a grand success. Mumtaz Malik said that a very beautiful gathering was organized in which poets who are passionate about Urdu literature presented their poems. The efforts of the host Naumana Kanwal to promote Urdu literature are commendable. Sarwar Ghazali said that the efforts of Naumana Kanwal Sheikh and Imtiaz Sheikh for the promotion of Urdu literature are commendable. Samreen Nadeem Qamar, who came from Qatar, said that the Khazina Sher-e-Adab International UK impressed us immensely by organizing the international poetry festival. Their efforts are commendable and we are proud of them. Imtiaz Sheikh, Chairman of the Khazina Sher-e-Adab International UK, said that he sincerely thanks the guests who came from other countries. Founder and President of Khazina Sher-e-Adab International UK, Nomana Kanwal Sheikh, also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the guests from all over the world and said that our efforts are ongoing to keep Urdu literature and language alive at the global level so that the younger generation is connected to Urdu literature. Other participants in the international poetry festival were also deeply impressed by the efforts of Khazina Sher-e-Adab International UK to promote the Urdu language at the global level and called it a valuable asset. Special shields were also given to distinguished poets – Pir Syed Al-Ma’arif Shah, the dean of the Bari Imam, offered a special prayer –

Khazina Sher-e-Adab International UK’s efforts to promote and publicize the Urdu language and to enlighten Urdu literature at the international level will be written and known in the golden letters of history.
