According to ug news Media Europe,An environmental warning was announced due to severe air pollution in the surrounding regions of Mexico City, the capital of Mexico.Ug news Media Europe Report, informs that this was stated in the statement issued by the Environmental Commission of Mexico City.It was noted that the active use of pyrotechnics on New Year’s Eve caused the maximum permissible concentration of suspended particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometers to be exceeded.
We are talking about Istapalapa, Milpa-Alta, Sochimilco and Tlauak districts of the capital, as well as 13 regions of Mexico State, where several million people live.Until the weather clears, there will be severe restrictions on the use of motor vehicles in these areas. During this period, industrial enterprises are required to reduce the waste emitted into the atmosphere by 30-40% under the threat of fines.
According to some estimates, environmental problems kill more than 20,000 people every year in Mexico City.
