The letter noted that cooperation with European partners in the field of energy transmission will be important in order to achieve these goals: “The establishment of the first Consultative Council on the Green Energy and Black Sea submarine cable project of the Southern Gas Corridor, which aims to transport renewable electricity from Azerbaijan to Europe, is particularly encouraging.The letter emphasized that over the past two years, the United Kingdom has supported Azerbaijan’s energy transition through capacity-building and awareness programs: “These initiatives will strengthen Azerbaijan’s resilience to the effects of climate change in addition to ensuring a more sustainable energy future. we will present the new edition as part of the Baku Energy Week.The edition will highlight how British companies can help Azerbaijan to overcome certain challenges related to the energy transition. I take this opportunity to reiterate the United Kingdom’s commitment to working with Azerbaijan and international partners in the energy sector to accelerate our collective efforts in the transition to clean energy and combating climate change.
