First, the grave of the National Hero was visited, wreaths and flowers were placed in front of him, and prayers were read for his soul. Then, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the martyrs who died for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of our republic, were commemorated with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was sung. The speakers at the ceremony spoke about the patriotism, honorable life and glorious war path of M. Mirzayev, who was heroically martyred in the large-scale counter-offensive operation of the Azerbaijani Army against the provocations caused by the Armenian military units on the night of April 1-2, 2016, and he was always a member of the staff. they emphasized that it will be an example. It was noted that some strategically important heights occupied by the enemy were liberated thanks to the bravery and heroism of sons like M. Mirzayev in the April battles, which were engraved in golden letters in the military history of Azerbaijan and considered the beginning of the 44-day Patriotic War, and the myth of the invincibility of the Armenian army was shattered. It was emphasized that the bravery shown by our hero was highly appreciated by the head of our state, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. It was brought to attention that under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, our glorious Army liberated our lands and restored historical justice, and the revenge of our martyrs was deservedly taken from the enemy on the battlefield.
