According to Ug News Europe,On March 15, the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Mikheil Chhenkeli, who is visiting our country, together with the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, participated in the opening ceremony of the STEAM Center at school-lyceum No. 2 named after N. Allahverdiyev, Gakh city.The regional correspondent of Ug News Europe reports that before the opening, the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was visited and flowers were arranged in front of it.Later, the guests got acquainted with the conditions created in the school-lyceum. Emin Amrullayev and Mikheil Chhenkeli got acquainted with the teaching process in the Azerbaijani and Georgian sections of the educational institution and talked with teachers and students.It was reported that the school-lyceum has 53 classes (32 Azerbaijani, 11 Russian and 10 Georgian).A total of 946 students are studying in the educational institution together with preparatory groups, and 157 teachers are engaged in their training.The guests also got acquainted with the STEAM Center, which started operating in the school-high school.It was noted that STEAM has been taught in the said educational institution for 3 years. There are 7 STEAM rooms.The Center, which is fully equipped with innovative technologies, has created “Robot drone” zones for all age groups, “Logo system” zones for lower grade students, CNC and 3D printing mechatronics, and drone directions.Then the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, together with his Georgian counterpart, went to the village of Alibeyli, where Georgians live.The ministers visited the Georgian-speaking secondary school in the village of Alibeyli and got acquainted with the conditions created in the school.It was reported that the said educational institution was reconstructed and put into use in 2019 according to the relevant Decree of President Ilham Aliyev.In addition to classrooms, the 216-student school building, built according to modern standards, has 11 subject rooms, 2 laboratories, 2 technology rooms, computer and military training rooms, as well as a canteen, dance and gymnasiums, service rooms.158 students are studying in the school, 30 teachers are engaged in their education.Later, students performed national dances of Azerbaijan and Georgia, and musical numbers were played
