The Rochdale-based Kering & Shearing Charity, which is at the forefront of serving the community, held a grand opening ceremony for its charity’s new shop in Yorkshire Street, Rochdale. The charity’s chairperson, NICKY, and her team attended the event. The Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Shakeel Ahmed, attended the event with special participation. The Mayor cut the ribbon to open the shop amidst applause. Speaking to senior British journalist and anchor Arif Chaudhry on the occasion, Mayor Rochdale Councillor Shakeel Ahmed said that the chairperson of Kering & Shearing. NICKY has been a pioneer in community service in Rochdale for many years. I congratulate her on opening her charity shop. I hope that the proceeds from this shop will serve the community even more. Nikky, the chairperson of Kering Sherring, thanked Mayor Shakeel Ahmed for his participation in the opening ceremony of the new shop and said that she will try to serve the community even more with this project. Mayor Consort Councillor Rachel and Councillor Farooq Ahmed and others appreciated the services of Kering Sherring’s spirited Nikky for her community service.
