Quetta:(Special Correspondent)According to UG NEWS, Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has said that providing complete and foolproof security to the citizens on the occasion of Eid is the first responsibility of the government, no negligence in terms of security will be tolerated. An important meeting on law and order was held in Quetta yesterday under the chairmanship of Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau, in which top security officials participated. IG Prisons Saeed Ahmed, Additional IG Agha Yousaf, DIG Quetta, DIG CTD Aitzaz Guriya and other relevant officers participated in the meeting. A detailed review of security arrangements was taken on the occasion of Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary Home Hamza Shafqat gave a comprehensive briefing on the security situation. A special plan was also prepared in the meeting for the security of Chand Raat, Eidgahs and Imambargahs. Addressing the meeting, Provincial Home Minister Mirzaullah Langau said that the security forces are fighting terrorism with bravery and courage and the police have demonstrated professionalism in preventing recent incidents. The sacrifices of the security forces in the war against terrorism are unforgettable. All institutions including the Pakistan Army, FC, and Police are playing a full role in restoring law and order and protecting citizens. The Home Minister directed that all districts should ensure the implementation of the security plan on the occasion of Eid at all costs.
